In the last few years, tourism in Slovenia has flourished immensely. Despite the high profile of Slovenia in tourist magazines worldwide, the country itself still remains "unspoiled" and genuine.

Slovenian tourism is based upon a broad range of opportunities and choice. Slovenia is so diverse that it offers many options, from cave tourism to thermal spas, coastlines, ski tourism, agritourism and so on. It is hard to find a branch of tourism which Slovenia does not offer.

Conferences and business tourism are also growing in importance, with Slovenia offering a new destination, high quality and relatively low prices.
